On May 19th at 2 PM, Mark Alexander and Mary Anderson will host a concert performed by Mark at their home in Bethel Vermont. Mark has twice played on the Chandler Stage for Mud Season and is remembered for his appearance in full logging garb playing classical piano. He has played numerous fundraisers, including two at the Frederick Piano Museum in Ashburnham Mass., as well as performing for Mountain Music Monday in Bethel Lympus.

He will play works by Debussy, Ravel, Schubert and Gershwin. The concert will be held in the home that Mark and Mary built specifically to house his piano and her looms. As a result it has excellent acoustics and wonderful light.

The concert is a fund raiser for Vermont Adaptive Ski and Sports, a non profit organization whose mission is to empower individuals with disabilities regardless of their ability to pay. VT Adaptive offers year round sports and integrates environmental, holistic wellness, and competitive training into some of their programs. They offer programs
for people of all ages with cognitive, developmental, physical and emotional disabilities as well as a special program for military veterans.

The concert will last approximately 1 1/2 hours. Finger foods, wine and cider will be offered after the concert for those wishing to stay. Space is limited so please RSVP Mary Anderson at 234-5505 or at jammnrose@aol.com She will give you directions then. The goal is to raise $1000 which will be matched. Donations will be collected at the door.
