Next Saturday, the one and only Dudley Laufman will come to Cabot to call the final dance of the season--bring your family and friends and join us: May 11 at 7:30 in the Willey Building in Cabot village, with great live music and friendly people to bring delight to your heart!

Dudley Laufman has done as much as anyone to contribute to the resurgence of contra dancing in New England over the past several decades. People travel long distances to dances he calls, as he doesn't travel outside NH that often, but he will be here in Cabot next week! Don't miss this rare opportunity to dance to his teaching and calling!

You don't need to have any experience or talent for dancing, as Dudley will teach you all you need to know to participate in this great Vermont tradition. Music is provided by a wonderful live band, which has been numbering 7-10 local musicians, and is wonderful to dance to, or you're welcome to just sit and listen. A number of Cabot teenagers have been coming in recent months, giving the dance their energy and enthusiasm. Bring the family, and stay as long or as short as you like!
