Brattleboro, VT – The Windham & Windsor Housing Trust will be holding its first ever Landlord Education Workshop on May 11th, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 68 Birge Street in Brattleboro, Vermont.
The cost of the workshop is $99 and will cover topics such as Fair Housing rules, budgeting for vacancies, deductible expenses, retaining tenants, paying for repairs, community resources, recordkeeping, and tax preparation.
Leonard Howard, the Brattleboro Deputy Fire Chief will be on-hand to speak about the Brattleboro Landlord Inspection program.
Landlords, or potential landlords, with 1 to 4 apartments will also learn how to qualify for a low-cost loan for repairs to their rental apartments.
