The Montessori School of Central VT (MSCVT) is having an open house Saturday May 11th from 9-10:30 a.m. for families to learn about the school and available openings.

Any parent that has searched knows that finding high-quality, enriching educational opportunities and childcare is a challenge. This school has been that and much more for our son. The children at MSCVT are excited about learning due to the caring staff and the Montessori principles employed by the school. My son has been enrolled in the Montessori preschool program for the past three years and is thriving. I attended his semi-annual classroom observation in March and was so proud when he demonstrated his math work; including sequencing of numbers up to 100 and counting by 4's up to 60 (he's only 5!). Even more importantly his zest for learning and love for his little school make the Montessori School a great fit for our family.

The school is located at 84 Pine Hill Road in Barre Town just a few miles from downtown Montpelier and Barre in either direction. Scholarships and need based financial aid are available. Act 166 funding can be utilized for the preschool programs.
