Lowell Library Book Dedication and Author Visit March 20

Past event
Mar 20, 2014

On Thursday, March 20th at 9:00 a.m. at the Lowell Graded School, Vermont Writer/Poet, Geoff Hewitt will help us celebrate and dedicate the $1000 worth of new books to the Lowell Graded School Library AND $1000 worth of new children's books to the Lowell Public Library! These donations are part of the Children's Literacy Foundation (CLiF) Year of the Book at Lowell Graded School!!!
Geoff Hewitt will also draw the winners of the local book store gift certificates and coupons for extra Manic Monday giveaway books. All year long, students have been writing book reviews about books they've read, and hanging them up on a bulletin board. For each review written, students can enter in a drawing to win the prizes. We're excited to give out some prizes next week!
We invite any community members to join us.
The Lowell Public Library is open on Tuesdays 4:00-6:00 p.m. and Saturdays 10:00-12:00. Please stop by and check out some of the new books after the dedication date!
