Guiding Eyes for the Blind works to enrich the lives of the blind and visually impaired by providing them with superbly bred and expertly trained guide dogs. Volunteers from around southern Vermont will talk about their experiences raising puppies for the Guiding Eyes program during the 12 to 18 months the puppies are with them at the Martha Canfield Library on Sunday, May 5 at 2:00. You will have a chance to meet some of the dogs currently being raised in our area. Learning to meet people nicely is one of the things puppies and raisers work very hard to achieve, so you may have a chance to help with that training! Call the Library at 802-375-6153 for more information.
