Peaceful Practical Parenting Class
With Maris Rose - Parent Coach and Early Childhood Educator
In an atmosphere of warmth and understanding we will discuss techniques (and the concepts behind their effectiveness) to bring more peace, connection, simplicity and respectful cooperation to family life.
We will focus on building a stronger bond with our children. We want to increase our positive influence and our ability to teach and guide our children. We will address effective communication tools and the power of our attention to support our connection and the emotional development of our children. Then we address ways to maintain the essential emotional connection with our children while teaching and guiding them.
This is a positive (not permissive) approach to the joyful, messy, unpredictable, wonderful, challenging work of raising children. Please do join us!
Who: For Shelburne Parents of Students in Preschool through 3rd Grade
When: Wednesday, May 1st 5:30-7:30 PM
Dinner will be available from 5:30-6:00
Where: Shelburne Community School Cafeteria
Cost: FREE! Thanks to a generous grant from the PTO!
Free dinner and childcare will be provided for attendees!
