Saturday is Maple Fest, a fundraiser for operating costs of The Cabot Chronicle. Two live groups will be performing in CSPAC through the day, and we've moved the silent auction into the CSPAC building, as well. Here's the schedule:
9:00 a.m. "The Dragon Wall" Vermont award-winning short film, followed by trailer for the upcoming Vermont film, "The Green Knight"
10:00 a.m. The Limes, Cabot student alt-pop-funkhestra
11:30 a.m. The Goat Ropers Acoustic Folk, Bluegrass and Irish Music
1:15 p.m. Encore of "The Dragon Wall" and trailer for "The Green Knight"
2:00 p.m. The silent auction closes and successful bidders pay and pick up their outstanding deals.
If you want more music, come to the Willey Building at 7:00 p.m. for the Eighth Grade fundraiser Calcutta Raffle and Dance, with prizes up to $2,500. The last we knew, there were still a few raffle tickets available, which you can buy onsite.
