Meet at the Amtrak Station on Green Up Day - Saturday, April 26 at 9 AM - Rain or Shine!

Neighbors around the Amtrak Station and the Multi-Use Path are invited to help Green Up. Again this year the Central Street / Grove Street neighbors are planning a spring cleanup at the Amtrak Station - removing leaves from the platform and picking up litter and giving getting off the Amtrak Vermonter visitors and residents a "clean impression" of our community!

This year we'll also work on reviving and beautifying the rain garden along the multi-use path along the tracks between Central Street and Grove Street (the EHS end). The rain garden bushes have been pruned. We'll remove the weeds and dead leaves and the Village will haul that away for composting, then will bring in some mulch. We'll have a supply of Green Up bags to pick up the ever-present litter.

Please bring work gloves, rakes, clippers, and other useful garden tools, if you have them. Everyone is welcome and appreciated for however long you can pitch in! Email if you want to add ideas or have questions.
