Come hear a talk on "Asylum Seekers in Our Country & in Our Community" at noon Friday at the River Garden, 157 Main St., Brattleboro. Who are asylum seekers? Why do they come to the U.S. and what do they experience when they arrive? Steve Crofter, director of the local nonprofit Community Asylum Seekers Project (CASP), will share some stories of those courageous souls who journey to seek refuge. You will also learn about CASP and how you can support asylum seekers here in our local communities.
