You are invited to join in on the 2nd Annual West River Valley Green Up Day Celebration and the 1st Annual Eco-Scavenger Hunt. The scavenger hunt is sponsored by the Valley Lions Club & BSA Troop #428 on Saturday, May 4, 2019 starting at 9 am - 1 pm. Great for Adults or and all children with adults!

You are tasked to find in your scavenger hunt the listed items and seek out the "GREEN UP DAY" green stake located in each of the West River Valley towns of Newfane, Brookline, Townshend, Jamaica and Wardsboro. HINT: All green stakes can be found near a historic public location in or close by to the town center. Cash prizes to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners ($25, $15, $10).

As of Sunday, April 28, 2019 you will need to find your "Scavenger Kits" at the following locations: Newfane Market, Jamaica Country Store, Wardsboro Country Store and at the Wolf Building at Grace Cottage Hospital - other locations may come available!
