What: You are invited to the FIRST EVER Mill River Unified Union School District Art Show with the Elementary level in the spotlight. Every MRUUSD student from Pre-K to 6th Grade will have AT LEAST one piece to share!
Where: The Sparkle Barn is located in Wallingford right off of US-7 #1509. Check out their webpage for a sneak peak @ thesparklebarnshop.com
The Art Show will be held in the upstairs. (Be aware there is no alternative route other than a single staircase to the show)
When: Sunday April 28th 5pm to 7pm
This Sunday is the opening reception from 5 pm to 7pm. Refreshments will be served and MRUUSD art teachers will be in attendance to field questions and support the event. A video/slideshow of art created throughout the year will also be showing. Drop in anytime between 5 and 7 to see what our students have been up to! Photo frames and interactive art tables will also be on-hand for visitors to enjoy along with some other fun surprises.
After this Sunday, the art will remain up for viewing through May 4th, when there will be a closing party for the show from 5 to 7 that day.
If you can't make it this Sunday (or want to stop by more than once) The Sparkle Barn has extended its hours to share the work of MRUUSD students:
Monday 10-7. Closed Tuesday. Wed. 10 - 7. Thur 10 - 7. Friday
10 - 7. Saturday noon - 7. (or until end of closing party)
