Come share your favorite memories of Burnham Hall. The Lincoln Library will be hosting another Burnham Centennial Celebration event on Tuesday, April 30 at 7:00 p.m. Earlier in the winter, this community conversation was presented during the daytime as a senior program. It was very well attended, and the stories people shared were wonderful. Remember how we ended that event, not wanting to stop the conversation? Well here's your chance to come back again and tell some more!
We invite people back from the first round and also open it to children and anyone else who couldn't come during the daytime. Think about how many remarkable things have happened in your life at Burnam Hall. From conversations to celebrations, friendships to flooding, games to graduations, memorial services to music, performances to pancakes, voting to venison, and weddings to warm winter clothes, we have all etched in our memories something special. Burnham Hall is as much a part of our history as we are a part of hers. Let's celebrate this treasure together; please join us for an uplifting evening! Light refreshments will be provided. Feel free to bring a photo or momento if you have one to share. We look forward to seeing you, and you don't have to share something, it's okay to just come and listen.
Sally Ober, Co-Chair of the Burnham Centennial Celebration Committee (802)453-2980, clerk@lincolnvermont.org
P.S. If you can't attend this event, feel free to write down a short description of your memory and e-mail it to Wendy at the Library: lincolnlibraryvt@gmail.com. If we have time, maybe we can read some written submissions as well.
