* The Barre Historical Society's annual May Day celebration features a traditional Italian dinner and talk by author Katherine Paterson on May 1, the film, The Organizer, with discussion led by film historian Rick Winston on May 2, and For the Love of Pete concert and sing-along honoring Pete Seeger featuring Ben Koenig and Mark Greenberg on May 4.
