Meditation: The Practice of Feeling/Awareness: Experience the glow of meditation. Meditation practice is a great way to gently cheer up. It brings emotional warmth and environmental friendliness. It highlights our interconnectedness. It cleanly severs distorted conclusions. It reveals our fundamental openness. It turns our mind into an ally. We make friends with ourselves.
Class details The first hour of class will consist of a 25-minute session of guided sitting meditation, followed by 10 minutes of walking meditation, and then another 25 minutes of silent sitting. After the meditation period is over we will have 30 minutes of discussion to share reflections, insights, questions, and answers. All the while we can practice gentle, whole-bodied listening, whether we are the ones speaking or not.
