Author Jon Steinman offers a preview of the research that went into his new book "Grocery Story: The Promise of Food Coops in the Age of Grocery Giants" and he recounts his experience as a food systems journalist that would eventually lead him to write a book about consumer-owned grocery stores (food cooperatives). Jon will share the amazing work food co-ops are doing in communities across the country. He will be at MoCo from 12 - 5pm to share co-op experiences. Refreshments will be served at the book presentation at River Arts at 5:30pm.
