Middletown Springs will be hosting our popular annual Spring event, "Big Dumpster Day' , on Saturday, May 4, 2019, from 6:00 AM until 12 noon. The location is still on Route 140 West, near the outskirts of town across from Parker Water Wells.

As in the recent past, there will be a $5.00 charge per vehicle load of discarded items. Acceptable items include things such as old sofas, easy chairs, mattresses, old plastic kids toys, and so on; discarded items that are NOT your usual household trash.

Metal items will be taken for no charge and need to kept separated from materials to be thrown away. Refrigerators, freezers, air conditioners and dehumidifiers are subject to a $20.00 charge for freon removal and need to be taken up to the Fort Dumpster location; n-o-t to the West Street site.

No Tires or hazardous materials will be accepted. Old paint should be recycled at an approved participating paint store; old paint cans where the contents have completely solidified may be discarded, but any liquid paints must be recycled.
