Acupuncture is an ancient healthcare system steeped in mystery. Or is it? Come hear about the basics tenets of its healing process at the Waterbury Library on Wednesday, May 1st at 6:30. This talk, given by Licensed Acupuncturist Travis Beto, demystifies this practice. For example, why do acupuncturists analyze your tongue or what are they doing when they "feel" your pulse? Why can a needle placed in your arm help your back pain? Beto will answer these questions and offer up some simple techniques to apply to your own self-care.
Beto is a Vermont licensed acupuncturist. He has a Master's in Oriental Medicine and a Bachelor's in Health Sciences.
