Hi Neighbors,

Just a reminder that Saturday May 4th is Green Up Day this year.

Unfortunately, the students at the elementary and middle school will not be participating this year. We have been very lucky the past few years (possibly decades) because the students have been greening up the dirt roads in town and doing an amazing job. I hope a lot of them get to participate with their parents on Saturday.

What this means is that we have to step it up this year. You can pick up your green bags at the town office and the library next week. Not only do we pick up the roadside trash but then we have to bring the bags to the dumpster at the Town Garage. Don't leave them with your regular trash.

Coffee will be available at the library on that Saturday for those participating in the event.
