It is our pleasure to welcome you to our home for a lively evening with Ryan McKasson on fiddle, Jeremiah McLane on accordion and keyboard, and Eric McDonald on guitar and mandolin. Each is a master of their respective instruments as well as a composer, collaborator and teacher. This performance in an intimate setting is not to be missed!

About the performers:

Ryan McKasson hails from the Pacific Northwest. In 1996 he was the youngest ever to win the National Scottish Fiddle Championship. Among his teachers are Alasdair Fraser and Don McInnes. Ryan teaches and performs throughout the US, Canada and New Zealand and has recorded with a number of artists including Alasdair Fraser & Natalie Haas, Hanneke Cassel, The McKassons, contra dance band The Syncopaths, and baroque/celtic/fusion combo Ensemble Galilei.

Jeremiah McLane is based in Vermont. His varied studies include classical piano, jazz, blues, and traditional Celtic and French music with the likes of Jimmy Keene and Frederic Paris. The recipient of many awards, Jeremiah has formed, recorded with and performed with many bands including The Clayfoot Strutters, Nightingale, Le Bon Vent, and Bob & the Trubadors. He collaborates with award winning classical pianist Annemieke Spoelstra McLane, fiddlers Ruthie Dornfeld and Alex Kehler, piper Tim Cummings and many others.

Eric McDonald cut his teeth as a mandolinist in the folk and roots music scene in Boston. After studying guitar and mandolin at Berklee College of Music he found his way to the traditional music of England, Scotland, Ireland and Acadia. He has performed with The Outside Track, Cantrip, Andrea Beaton, Wendy MacIsaac and Katie McNally. Among his many recordings are his solo album Rove, The Sunny Hills with piper Will Woodson, Harbour with Ryan McKasson, The Crossing with Cantrip, and Daymark with Will Woodson and Dan Foster.
