Join us for an open rehearsal of Schubert's Octet, D. 803 at Heartbeet Lifesharing, 218 Town Farm Rd, Hardwick. This is a free event with donations gratefully accepted to benefit the ensemble. Call 472-3285 for more information. An open rehearsal is a chance to see how a classical ensemble works together to create a high level performance. Audience members can attend all or part of the rehearsal, and will have the opportunity to talk with musicians during breaks. The musicians in the ensemble Gotta Play Schubert! are Mary Rowell, violin; Brooke Quiggins Saulnier, violin; Elizabeth Reid, viola; Frances Rowell, cello; Evan Primo, bass; Elisabeth Leblanc, clarinet; Rachael Elliott, bassoon; and Joy Worland, French horn. The free performance or this rarely performed piece will be at Cathedral Arts in Burlington on Tuesday, April 30 at 12 noon.
