Hazen's Mexico City Travel Study participants, families, and many community supporters are eagerly anticipating May 5th at Highland Center for the Arts. We invite you to join us as acclaimed singer-songwriter Tish Hinojosa headlines a benefit concert starting at 3 PM with local bluegrass duo The Sky Blue Boys opening. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students and are available from any travel study participant or through the Highland Center for the Arts website: http://highlandartsvt.org/event/tish-hinojosa/
Not only will we be celebrating renewed international experiential opportunities at Hazen through music, but we will also have crafts for children facilitated by Wonder Arts, Mexican-themed food available for purchase at the Highland Center's Hardwick Cafe, and a silent auction with live bidding beginning at 1:30 PM. You can begin bidding (and direct buying in some cases) on the $3000+ of products and services available on our online silent auction now: https://www.32auctions.com/HazenMexicoTravelStudy
Some highlights of our auction include: a 2019-2020 family membership to Craftsbury Outdoor Center; a Hazen basketball supporter package including 2019-2020 season pass and Hazen garb; massages; local food products; gardening supplies; handmade artisan goods; yoga; restaurant and salon gift certificates; Darn Tough socks; Turtle Fur hats; and Under the Weather pet products.
Thanks to our event sponsors and many donors, all proceeds from the benefit concert and silent auction support student participation in Hazen's travel study program. We hope you can join in supporting and celebrating our students and this program. For more info. about the Hazen Travel Study Program: https://sites.google.com/view/hazenmexicocity/home?authuser=1
