TODAY!

Calling all community organizers, local officials, and other locally-involved folks in Washington County!

As you may know, Argyle and Cambridge have benefited for the past several years from having access to a free service called Front Porch Forum (known as FPF). We recently heard from the folks at FPF -- a mission-driven, Vermont-based business -- that they are ready and eager to expand their service to all of Washington County!

There will be a chance for everyone to meet with FPF staff to learn more about the service and what it can do for your community. The meeting will be held at 1pm on Friday, April 19 at Argyle Free Library (21 Sheridan Street in Argyle NY). All are welcome.

Here's a thumbnail overview of what FPF does. Front Porch Forum is in the business of helping neighbors connect and build community. Since 2006, it has been hosting regional networks of online Neighborhood Forums where clearly identified nearby neighbors share postings about all sorts of topics. FPF puts neighborhood news and discussion into people's normal online routines, so that, over time, people feel more connected to their neighbors.

If you want a more detailed version of what FPF is about, check out https://frontporchforum.com/isfpfforme

Hope to see you at the meeting today!
