Career Pathways Working Outdoors on Thursday, May 9th, 10-11:30 am @ River Arts, Morrisville, 74 Pleasant St.
This Employer Panel is free and open to all community members who would like to learn about career and employment opportunities working in Forestry, Outdoor Recreation & Conservation, Sustainable Agriculture, Landscaping and Alternative Energy! Students, young adults and adults are welcome to come by River Arts on May 9th. Preregistration is not required.
The goals of this event and previous employer panels we have offered are twofold:
1. To raise awareness about the interesting career pathways that exist in our region, across various industry sectors, and;
2. To include Panelists who can speak to employment opportunities available to individuals entering the industry, but also longer term with additional education and training.
At this time, we anticipate employer representatives from:
Jasper Hill Farm, https://www.jasperhillfarm.com/
Salvation Farms, https://www.salvationfarms.org/
Craftsbury Outdoor Center, https://www.craftsbury.com/
Vermont Youth Conservation Corps, www.vycc.org
our Lamoille County Forester and
our local Game Warden
Additional employer representatives are invited.
Please share this information and invitation throughout the community, with anyone you think may be interested in attending! River Arts is a great meeting space-plenty of room for seating.
