The 21st Annual Waterbury Rotary Home Show will be held on Saturday, March 22rd from 9 to 4 and Sunday, March 23 from 10 to 3 at the Crossett Brook Middle School. Admission for this event is $3.00 and it is good for both days. Children under 12 are admitted for free.
The theme for this year’s show is Waterbury is Under Construction.
The Home Show will not only highlight exhibitors offering products and information about home and garden projects, but will also include several interactive community activities. New this year; Worn Out Jeans contest, sponsored by Lenny’s Shoe and Apparel (Saturday 12pm -1pm), Belt Sander Racing, sponsored by Russell Supply (Saturday 1:30pm – 3pm) and Trash or Treasure, John Kirby from Green Mountain Coins & Estate Jewelry will offer free appraisals on precious metal items, including coins, jewelry, flatware, etc. (Saturday 3pm – 4pm).
The show will also include an interactive art project with Mame McKee from the Seminary Arts Center (Sunday 10:30am – 12pm), and a Hip Hop Dance Demonstration by E-Knock and crew (Sunday 12pm) and the 2nd annual Pet Fashion Show, sponsored by Waterbury Veterinary Hospital (Sunday 1pm -2pm), As always there will be a large silent auction, huge flea market, Passport contest, where visitors have an opportunity to win prizes from participating vendors, and returning after a year hiatus, a photo contest.
