Madeleine Kunin Coming to GMTCC

Past event
Apr 26, 2019, 6 to 7:30 PM

A reading and talk with Madeleine Kunin on April 26, 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. at the Green Mountain Technology and Career Center, Community Room.

Madeleine Kunin was Vermont's first, and to date, only woman governor. She is author of a new memoir, "Coming of Age: My Journey to the Eighties". This discussion will take a close and incisive look at what it is like to grow old. The book is a memoir, yet most important of all, it is an honest and positive look at aging and how it has affected her life. Her book will be for sale at the event.
The event is free and open to the public and sponsored by Lamoille Neighbors and Lanpher Memorial Library. Donations to Lamoille Neighbors are appreciated.
Lamoille Neighbors is a local 501(c)(3) non-profit community organization that aims to help its members stay in the homes they love with support from their neighbors. It provides vetted volunteers to help with every day needs of elders; and vetted professionals for larger projects. Lamoille Neighbors charges a membership fee to cover expenses associated with liability insurance, background checks, and technology. Lamoille Neighbors is currently accepting members over age 50 in Morrisville, Hyde Park and Johnson and volunteers any age living anywhere. www.lamoilleneighbors.org
