The Mad River Chorale (directed by Mary Jane Austin) is joining forces with the South Burlington Community Chorus (directed by Erik Kroncke) on May 4th and 5th for an exciting concert featuring Carol Orff's "Carmina Burana". Performances will be at both Harwood Union School (May 5th at 4:00 PM) and McCarthy Arts Recital Hall at St. Michael's College (May 4th at 7:30 PM). The program will feature close to 100 singers, three of Vermont's best soloists, two grand pianos and percussion. The work begins and ends with the dramatic and stirring "O Fortuna", which has been featured in many films.
