Reminder: Craftsbury Proposed Energy Plan

Reminder:
The Craftsbury Planning Commission will hold a public hearing in the Craftsbury Town Hall on Thursday, April 18 at 7:00 p.m. This hearing will be held for public review of and comment on the proposed Craftsbury Town Enhanced Energy Plan, an amendment to the 2016 Craftsbury Town Plan, pursuant to Title 24 VSA, Chapter 117.

The proposed Craftsbury Town Enhanced Energy Plan includes pathways and recommended actions to achieve energy targets, and provide reasonable justification. The proposed plan, if and when adopted, will affect all lands within the Town of Craftsbury.

CRAFTSBURY ENHANCED ENERGY PLAN includes:
1. Purpose of Plan
2. Craftsbury Energy Committee
3. Craftsbury Energy Usage - Thermal Residential and Commercial; Transportation; Electricity use
4. Generation and Distribution
5. Efficiency and Weatherization
6. Energy sources: Solar, Wind, Methane, Hydro
7. Siting Standards for both Solar and Wind

Copies of the proposed Craftsbury Town Enhanced Energy Plan will be available on the town website (https://www.townofcraftsbury.com/) or obtained from the office of the Craftsbury Town Clerk.
