Hello, I am a dental hygiene student at Vermont Technical College in Williston, VT. I am looking for a board patient so I can graduate. If it has been 5 years or more since you had a cleaning, you may qualify for a free cleaning.
Some qualifications:
You need to have most of your teeth, not counting wisdom teeth and no artificial heard valve or joint replacement. You cannot have a latex allergy or have had MRSA in the last 5 years.
The procedure:
You would set up an appointment with me on a Tuesday or Thursday for a screening. This is where we will go over medical history and I will take a look in your mouth to see if you have enough of the hard deposits (calculus/Tartar) on your teeth. If you qualify, we will take x-rays (for free) at this same appointment. If you don't qualify, it only takes about 30 minutes, if you do, it could take 1.5 - 2.0 hours.
If you qualify, you need to be available for Wednesday, April 30. This is the day of my exam. A portion of your mouth will be completed that day. You will see me and the test examiners, so it takes time. They will be checking my work and grading me on it. After the test day, you can come back to the clinic at your convenience to complete your care.
If you do not qualify, you may be able to come to our clinic and receive care at a small fee ($25-$30 for complete hygiene care and usually up to $30 for x-rays)
If you are interested, or have questions, I can be reached at: mrwhitman12@gmail.com
Thank you so much for your interest!
