Coming up Thursday on Goddard College Community Radio - a "repair cafe" program is attracting more interest locally, and we look at the economic benefits from moving to 90% renewable energy by 2050.
9:00 - 10:00 am
In March, Onion River Exchange and Central Vermont Solid Waste Management District put on their third "repair cafe" in Montpelier, following up on ones in Barre and Hardwick, and over a hundred people brought in items to be repaired, with dozens of volunteers. Organizer Eric Bachman will explain what the repair cafe is and talk about the need for more organizers so that the repair cafe can be held every month.

The Energy Action Network recently issued a report on the economic benefits of achieving Vermont's energy and emissions commitments. Network director Sarah Wolfe will be on to talk about those benefits.
