Gospel Music Concert to Benefit Tanzanian Project – April 27

Our community has an exciting opportunity to support Aglink, a Sustainable Community Development project in Tanzania. Tanzanian Agnes Link is developing an organization which supports young people in Tanzania with a focus on less advantaged women, girls and orphans. The mission is to help build their self-confidence while offering material support and mentoring. The goal is to empower young people in becoming entrepreneurs.

Come to the Second Congregational Church, UCC in Hyde Park on Saturday, April 27th at 7:00 p.m. to enjoy a Gospel Music Concert; to learn more about Tanzania and to support the Aglink Project Agnes is a singer/song writer and she will sing five of her own songs in her native language, Swahili. Written interpretation will be available. She will also have CDs of her songs available.

Refreshments will be provided. A suggested donation of $10.00 will be received at the door. Children 12 and under are free. Half of the proceeds will support the Aglink Project and half will support the Second Congregational Church.
