If you have an interest in blues music, in particular, Koko Taylor, you are in for an afternoon and evening of great music and history. This event is a double billing; Queen of the Blues: A Portrait of Koko Taylor will be shown at the Savoy Theater in Montpelier at 3:30 pm followed by a women blues singers jam with Dave Keller and friends at Sweet Melissa's in Montpelier at 5 pm. This is to benefit Circle VT, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating safer communities; ending violence against women, together. Suggested donation at each venue is $10.
