Take a Seat in the Islands, sponsored by the Lake Champlain Regional Chamber and starring 17 gorgeous hand-made and artist-painted benches, will hold a live auction of Friday, August 16th at the North Hero Community Hall. Doors open at 6:30 and the auction starts at 7:30 p.m. The event is free, but registration is required if you want to bid on a bench. Cash bar, light hors d'oeuvres. The proceeds benefit the artists and C.I.D.E.R. The Sunflower Bench, painted by Paula Bradley, will be raffled off at the end of the evening.
