The Essex Selectboard (SB) is meeting on Monday, April 15 at 7 PM. The meeting will be held at the Essex Town Offices at 81 Main Street. Here are some highlights from the agenda:
-Public to be heard.
-The SB will consider approving several first and second class liquor license renewals.
-The SB will consider approving the creation of a US Census Complete Count Committee. This committee would work with Census officials to reach out to populations that tend not to respond to the Census.
-The SB will consider warning a public hearing for the Fiscal Year End 2020 water/sewer budget and rates.
-The SB will hear a presentation from Finance Director Sarah Macy regarding the transition to paperless invoicing.
-The SB will consider revising the Communications Policy
-The SB will consider extending the deadline for organizations to apply for Human Services Funding to April 19.
-The SB will consider appointing two members to the Joint Governance Subcommittee.
-The SB will discuss board procedures.
-The SB will consider approving the minutes from April 1.
-The SB will consider approving the consent agenda, which includes adoption of the 2019 Local Emergency Operations Plan, minutes of April 1, 2019, and check warrants.
