Friends of the Hort Farm – Lilac Collection Workday – Saturday, April 13th
Dear Friends,
Please join us this coming Saturday, April 13th, from 10 am – 12 noon for a spring cleanup workday in the lilac collection at the Hort Farm. Kitty Werner, our lilac curator, will be on hand, and after an overview of proper care and maintenance of lilacs we'll focus on cleanup tasks and clearing bittersweet from several of our specimens. Workdays at the Hort Farm are educational and fun, and a wonderful opportunity to get to know some other friends and master gardeners.
This event is free, and all of our workdays qualify for extension master gardener education hours. Refreshments will be served! Please bring gloves, pruners and loppers.
