The Friends of the Argyle Library will hold their annual Plant and Bake Salem Saturday, May 11 from 9am until noon. The sale will be at the Argyle Rescue Squad building on Sheridan Street.

We are looking for donations of plants and baked goods. If you are going to be renovating your perennial flower beds in the next weeks, please put aside the plants you thin and contribute them to our sale. 0r, if you have extra greenhouse plants, we can find homes for them, too. It helps if you provide information on the varieties and colors of plants that are not yet in bloom. Also, we will accept contributions of all kinds of baked goods (no cream pies, please).
