Hello!

I'm sure I'm not alone in noticing a LOT of litter out there along our roadways now that the snow has melted. I propose that we designate a day that residents of Cambridge, White Creek and Jackson get out there and pick up litter! Saturday, April 20th is two days before Earth Day, so why not then? I am just a citizen proposing this, but it would be wonderful if our town and village governments could get involved - perhaps by providing bags, safety vests, trash drop off points, etc.

Would love more thoughts on this! Wouldn't it be neat if we could ultimately get all of the towns in the County competing to be the tidiest Washington County town - we could track # of volunteers, bags of trash collected, etc.The winning town would have bragging rights!
