Vermont Social Adventure Camp
Dates: Sunday, August 11 - Thursday, August 15, with four overnights
Vermont Social Adventure Camp (VSA), in collaboration with MetroRock Climbing Center, celebrates neurodiversity and focuses on enhancing personal growth and social engagement through outdoor adventure and collaborative activities. Facilitated by highly trained professionals, campers will receive coaching on navigating the complexities of social interactions while enjoying the outdoors.
Participants will bike, kayak, hike or rock climb, and camp outdoors (weather permitting). This camp incorporates Dungeons and Dragons (DnD) as an engaging means in which to reinforce social understanding concepts.
VSA welcomes neurodiverse and neurotypical students (including students with autism and other learning/social challenges) and provides leadership opportunities for youth to serve as peer mentors. We've had great success and fun at this camp for the last eight years! Please contact Louise if you have any questions!
