Shannon McNally & Brett Hughes bring their big-time sound and heartfelt harmonies to an intimate show at Lincoln Peak Vineyard on Friday, March 14, 6-8 pm.
Shannon McNally is a powerhouse singer and emotional, literate songwriter-- her songs rooted in the blues, country and soul of the American South where she's made her home for the past dozen years. "She has the voice: bruised, smoky and ornery, right at home where country and soul meet... She has the melodies and the timing--she's irresistable" wrote Jon Pareles in The New York Times.
Brett Hughes is one of our own--the singer, guitarist and songwriter, is locally known for hosting his rowdy, long-running Honky Tonk Tuesday residency at Burlington's Radio Bean, as well as being an in-demand musical collaborator--he's been an essential player in myriad ensembles, including Belle Pines, Monoprix, viperHouse, Chrome Cowboys, and The Decentz.
Brett & Shannon have been good friends and collaborators for over a decade, and they're excited to play together again on a northeast tour including Lincoln Peak.
