City Council Meeting Agenda - April 10

Past event
Apr 10, 2019, 6:30 to 9 PM

Hello neighbors! It's the second week of April (WHAT?!), which means we have a Council meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, April 10th. Personally, I think all of the items on this agenda are big ticket items, but I'll let you decide: Main and Barre Streets Scoping Study, proposed amendments to the Tax Stabilization Policy, the Recreation Building, and a discussion about the process for reviewing our ordinances. Do these topics sweeten your tea? Do they grind your gears? Just curious about 'em? If so, please stop by the meeting or watch online (on our website or ORCA Media's YouTube channel) or on the telly, channel 17. If you cannot attend the meeting but would like have your voice heard, feel free to e-mail our City Councilors directly, or simply reply to me and I can forward for comments along. One of my goals here at the City, and as resident of Montpelier, is to try to bridge any gaps between City Hall and my neighbors. As my dear friend Corrie (Manager at Roam, crossword puzzle enthusiast, fellow Hufflepuff and more) once said, "maybe we are all just striving to be universally connected, because in the end, we all come from the same primordial ooze." On that note, please check out the agenda below, along with a link to an agenda which contains supporting documents.
