WHERE THRE DOUGHBOYS ARE NOT FORGOTTEN: WORLD WAR I AMERICAN MONUMENTS AND CEMETERIES IN FRANCE by Dave Curtin, Retired Intelligence Officer, Defense Intelligence.
In France, the role of the United States in the First World War is widely commemorated in monuments.This presentation focuses on these memorials to the Doughboys in the "Great War". It will also cover a few monuments to Americans who served in France before the U.S. joined the war-including volunteers in the French forces and the Canadian army.
