Join us May 5th at the Highland Center for the Arts in Greensboro for a Cinco de Mayo celebration featuring a concert by renowned singer/songwriter Tish Hinojosa to benefit Hazen Union School's Mexico Travel Study Program. The event kicks off at 1:30 PM with a silent auction and children's crafts facilitated by Wonder Arts. Local bluegrass duo The Sky Blue Boys open for featured performer Tish Hinojosa at 3 PM. Hinojosa has dedicated her career to playing music from the southwest, starting out in Tejano before moving on to singer/songwriter folk, border music, and country. Concert tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students and can be purchased through the Highland Center box office.
