Saturday, April 13, is Green Bag Day, a project of the Lamoille Neighborhood Food Project that is run by, and supports, The Lamoille Community Food Share. Here's an easy way to support your local food pantry-- donate a bag of nonperishable food items every two months and support local families struggling with food security.

Bring your bags (Green or otherwise) to the Lamoille Community Food Share, 197 Harrel St., from 11:00-12:30 on the 13th, or any time the pantry is open. You can also leave them in an LCFS collection box at the Morrisville and Hyde Park libraries and at the Akeley Building in Stowe. Food Project Green Bags are available at the Food Share and libraries.
