Come see live raptors at a free lecture by the Vermont Institute of Natural Resources on April 17th at 6:30pm at the Peoples Academy auditorium. The lecture will relate each of the living birds predatory-prey relationships, their food webs, and their interdependence. This first-hand encounter will enable the audience to understand what makes a bird a raptor and how they adapt as a predator on the wing. Touchable artifacts and hands on material will round out this special experience.
This free lecture is sponsored by the Morristown Conservation Commission. MCC meets the 3rd Wednesday of the month each month at the town offices at 6:30pm, and invites interested parties to attend. Because of this special event MCC's April meeting is taking place one day later on Thursday April 18th.
