Come Explore watercolor painting focusing on the magic of the medium and Vermont's emerging springtime. Included will be a demonstration, painting time with guidance and encouragement, and a positive critique.
This workshop will give you a chance to learn more about the watercolor medium. We will explore ways to approach, design and, create interesting watercolor paintings. With the Vermont Spring awakening our beautiful countryside we will be thinking about and painting the changing landscape.

You can bring any watercolor materials that you have and /or use. A list of those that I use will be provided but are not required. Please bring your own reference photos or sketches that you have made or taken yourself.

Lisa Forster Beach has recently been honored with a large watercolor painting, titled, "YOUR NUMBER IS? being accepted in 151st Annual American Watercolor Society's International Exhibition in New York City. This very prestigious Watercolor exhibit runs from April 9-28, 2018 at the Salmagundi Club, 47 Fifth Ave., New York City. This painting is also being recognized and is being honored with a major cash award in this show.

Lisa Forster Beach is an award winning artist living in Stowe, Vermont. She is widely recognized for her drawings and watercolor paintings. They represent her responses to her environment, experiences, impressions, and perceptions both seen and felt. In addition to many solo shows, her work has been accepted in numerous group and national exhibitions. She was awarded signature membership in the National Watercolor Society in 1986. Her background includes a Master of Fine Arts degree in Painting from Rochester Institute of Technology, a BS degree in Art Education from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, and study with many master painters. She is acclaimed for her teaching, which includes watercolor workshops, internationally, nationally, and regionally, art museum classes, college courses, public school, Elderhostel, and classes in her Stowe Hollow Studio.
