Join us on Saturday, May 18th for the 9th Annual "Sufficient Food For All" Walk-A-Thon. This is the main fundraiser of the Randolph Area Food Shelf (RAFS). Your participation helps support RAFS in its mission to provide food to over 300 households in the towns of Randolph, Braintree, Brookfield, and East Granville.
Spend the morning walking, running, or biking on peaceful backcountry roads in Brookfield with your choice of 1.0, 3.9, 8.7 and 10.8-mile routes. The Walk-A-Thon promises fun for the whole family - you can even bring along your dog (on a leash)! Water, healthy snacks, fun music, and prizes are all part of the event.
WHEN: Saturday, May 18th. Registration begins at 8:00am.
WHERE: The walk starts at Brookfield Elementary School on Ridge Road.
This year there is no registration fee, but we welcome donations. Give what you can, or raise money from friends and family members. Top fundraisers will win a prize!
All money raised will purchase food and essential personal care items for over 300 families in need. A portion of the proceeds will go towards buying locally produced vegetables, fruits, and meat.
