In conjunction with Poem City and the Kellogg-Hubbard Library, we've got two exciting poetry events for kids this week at the Center for Arts and Learning. Ever wonder what a poetry slam is? Join Vermont's reigning slam master, Geof Hewitt, to learn about slams and write your own slam poem! Introduction to Poetry Slams will take place Wednesday, April 10th at 3pm, in the River Rock School at the Center for Arts and Learning, 46 Barre St.
Then sign up for the poetry slam at the Center for Arts and Learning on April 13!

Both events are free, open to the public, and wheelchair-accessible.
