Come to learn, meet people, celebrate another successful Science Pub season, maybe even spring (!) at Mountain Top Inn on Sunday, April 7, 4 pm.
Will Amidon, Associate Professor of Geology at Middlebury College, will take us through a brief history of New England's mountains, believed to have been once as high as Everest and eroded over eons. But are they really so ancient? His research shows that they may be much younger, created by very recent tectonic events.
After the presentation in the Barn, stay for dinner (or not) at Mountain Top Inn's renowned restaurant.
Please join us. All free, except for drinks and food.
