I'm most concerned about the Free College St. Shuttle. I have heard from several bus drivers that they are changing the route, and essentially eliminating the route up College St. incorporating some of the stops into other fare-paying routes. I think that would be a giant mistake. We need the free shuttle. Not everyone has a car, and not everyone has bus fare. It is very important for the most vulnerable community: those who can't walk up the hill or get to the hospital, tourists, children going to ECHO, ADA folks, seniors, etc.
It is vital to the City. If they cut it down to every half-hour, they would be able to run it with only one bus.
The bus fares for the other buses should be going up - they last raised the busfares in 2005! Can you think of anything else that has not gone up in price since 2005?
Hope to see you there!
