A concerned group of Vermonters are walking from Middlebury to Montpelier with a stop in Hinesburg tomorrow (April 6th) to draw attention to the climate emergency we are presenting facing. The walk is sponsored by 350.org Vermont and all are welcome to join the walk for part or in it's entirety. There will be a march from Lagoon Road just outside of Hinesburg to the center of town as the walkers enter Hinesburg sometime around 5:30 PM. There will also be a potluck dinner at the United Church in the Parish Hall at 6:15 PM and all are welcome. Later after dinner there will be a discussion about the climate change crisis and solutions we can support to move us toward a more sustainable energy future. The walking group will head out Sunday morning after spending the night at the United Church.
